Greenhouse Lane

See what we did there?

By ‘Green’ we mean sustainable, minimising the impact of our business activities on the environment. But also sustaining – for our local and business communities and for our employees, supporting the deeply ingrained desire most of us feel to ‘give something back’.

For ease we’ve sorted our various activities and aspirations under three broad, un-businesslike headings. Those who, like Margaret Thatcher’s favourite guru Milton Friedman believe that ‘the business of business is business’ can relax - there are real bottom-line benefits attached to each. But it is the so-called ‘triple bottom line’ – people, planet, profit– that people increasingly look for in a supplier and an employer.
